Take apart unwanted jewelry and re-use the beads…
There has been a bare-root hydrangea residing in my bathtub for the last two weeks. The hole was dug but we had two nights below freezing temperatures and I held off from planting. Today was the day (I’m pleased to say that it was looking very happy in its new home the last time I checked) but that ran me a little short on time for the bead challenge.
I had a hard time deciding which piece of jewelry to take apart. Then, I remembered I had a necklace made of peach-colored rice pearls.
While digging for the necklace, I found a small bag of left-over Swarovski Bordeaux pearls…which led to more digging. You know how that goes! A few findings later resulted in a bracelet and matching earrings.
