It’s Friday the 13th and Halloween is coming up fast. Let’s do a cuff with some grumpy pumpkins in odd-count peyote stitch this week. You’ll need two orange, a green and black. It’s a repeating pattern. Work until it fits your wrist and add (your choice) of clasp.
You can also widen the cuff and add a border on each side, if you wish. Have fun and happy beading!
We’re going to do some red, white and blue for Free Pattern Fridays since Independence Day will be here soon. This is a repeating odd-count peyote pattern, 17 columns wide, and only takes 3 colors. Click the image to enlarge and right-click to save to your hard drive. When you get to the bottom, start back at the top and work until the desired length. Your choice of clasp.
I was going for Black Canary but Lacey liked the multi-colored yarn better.
Modified from Good Knits pattern, Simple Mask. Yarn is Caron Simply Soft in Embroidery Print.
Kara, at Petals to Picots, posted a fabulous (and free!) Thanksgiving Turkey Crochet Pattern on her blog last year.
I used 2mm beads for the eyes, tweaked the beak, and crocheted feet to help stabilize him.
Thank you so much for sharing the pattern, Kara!
